These terms apply to the website design, development, hosting, email and support services provided by Perryworld Ltd ("we", "us") to you, the client. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotes and agreement
We will agree the scope of each piece of work with you before we start. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before it is carried out.
2. Payment
Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise. Prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added where applicable. Recurring charges, such as hosting and additional email addresses, are billed in advance. We may suspend services if invoices remain unpaid after a reminder.
3. Your content
You are responsible for the content you supply, including text, images and logos, and for making sure you have the right to use it. You must not use our services for anything unlawful.
4. Ownership
Once all invoices for a project are paid, you own the content and design created specifically for your website. Third-party software, such as Joomla and its add-ons, remains subject to its own licences.
5. Hosting, email and backups
We take reasonable care to keep hosted sites available, secure and backed up, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is carried out out of hours wherever possible. We recommend you also keep your own copies of important content.
6. Support
Support requests are handled by email, and we aim to respond within 24 hours. Larger changes may be quoted separately.
7. Cancellation
Recurring services can be cancelled by either party with 30 days' written notice. Work completed up to the date of cancellation is chargeable.
8. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Perryworld Ltd is responsible for any personal information you give us through this website.
- What we collect: the name, email address and message you send through our contact form or by email.
- Why: only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services.
- Sharing: we do not sell or share your details with anyone, except where required by law.
- Keeping it: enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them, and client records for as long as required for accounting purposes.
- Cookies: this website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
- Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing support@perryworld.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
